| Restrictions: | Teacher must have high school diploma or GED |
| Reporting: | Register as a Homeschool with the Secretary of Education within 30 days of establishment of a homeschool and re-notify on or before April 1st of each year thereafter. |
| Recordkeeping: | Maintain attendance records showing that parents are teaching the children at least 180 days and keep immunization records, or objection to immunization waiver form. |
| Requirements: | Subjects required include reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies and science. Attend same length of time as school district - 180 days. |
| Testing: | Testing Not Required |
| Compulsory Attendance: | Applies to child at least 5 years of age by September 1 of the school year to age 18 unless the child has graduated from high school |
