 Approach: Establish a homeschool
   
 Restrictions: Teacher certification not required
   
 Reporting: Notify the county superintendent of schools in each fiscal year of the student’s participation in homeschooling.
   
 Recordkeeping: Maintain attendance and immunization records. These must be available for inspection by county superintendent upon request.
   
 Requirements: Subjects required should be the same instructional program as the public schools. Attend 720 hours per year for grades 1-3; attend 1,080 hours per year for grades 4-12.
   
 Testing: Testing Not Required
   
 Compulsory  Attendance: Applies to children between the ages of 7 (on the first day of the school year) and the age of 16, or the date of completion of 8th grade, whichever is later.
