| Reporting: | Parents need to file an affidavit of intent with the county school superintendent stating that the child is being instructed in a home school and including the child’s name, date of birth, current address of the school the child is attending, and names, telephone numbers and addresses of the persons who currently have custody of the child. Affidavit must be filed once within 30 days from the time the child begins said instruction, and is not required again until such instruction is terminated. Homeschool instruction can be delayed until age 8, provided the parent has filed this affidavit of intent. |
