| Restrictions: | Teacher certification not required |
| Reporting: | File notice of enrollment and attendance upon initial enrollment with local superintendent on a provided form. Notify state if child withdraws from church school. |
| Recordkeeping: | Maintain a daily attendance record to be kept by school |
| Requirements: | Subjects not required. Attend a suggested 175 days per year. |
| Testing: | Not required |
| Compulsory Attendance: | Applies to children between the ages of 7 and 16 |

| Reporting: | File statement with local superintendent that shows children to be instructed, subjects taught and period of instruction. |
| Recordkeeping: | Maintain a register of the child’s work showing daily attendance and make such reports as the state board of education may require. |
| Requirements: | Subjects required include reading, spelling, writing, arithmetic, English, geography, history of the United States, science, health, physical education, and Alabama history. |

| Compulsory Attendance: | Applies to children between the ages of 7 and 16 |
